Investment Management Intern

Kamehameha Schools is seeking an Investment Management Intern for the summer of 2027 to support their Endowment Management Investment Group. This internship will provide hands-on experience in investment management, research opportunities, and culminate in a research presentation.

What you'll do:

• Participate in the Endowment Management Investment Fellowship (8-weeks)
• Assist the investment team in researching potential opportunities across venture capital, private equity, long-only global equity, hedge funds, and real assets
• Analyze financial data, market trends, and industry reports to support investment and operational decision-making
• Collaborate with team members to prepare investment memos and presentations
• Participate in due diligence efforts for both investment and operational activities
• Contribute to portfolio performance monitoring and analysis
• Lead a research project that concludes with a presentation

What they're looking for:

• Currently enrolled as a Sophomore or Junior in a post-secondary education program
• Strong interest in finance, investments, and asset management
• Analytical mindset to interpret financial data for investment and operational insights
• Excellent communication skills for team discussions and producing clear reports
• Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office products
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Able to attend and participate in the 3-day EMIF seminar
• Able to attend all Manager Speaker Series and Thursday Forums hosted during the summer fellowship
• Able to attend the Final Presentation Day and make a final presentation
