Investments Internship Program - US

Aberdeen is an investment company that helps clients become better investors through research, market insight and local expertise. The Investments Internship Program provides hands-on experience in asset management, including financial and market data analysis, investment research, portfolio monitoring and presenting insights to investment professionals.

What you'll do:

• Research markets, industries and companies to support investment decisions
• Analyse financial, economic and market data to identify trends, risks and opportunities
• Help prepare reports, presentations and investment materials
• Monitor market developments and assess their impact on portfolios
• Take part in team meetings, research discussions and investment reviews
• Work with colleagues across investment, product, distribution and risk teams
• Present your insights and recommendations to investment professionals

What they're looking for:

• We're looking for undergraduate students in their junior year of study, graduating between December 2027 and June 2028, who are excited to learn, contribute and explore a career in investments
• An interest in financial markets and how businesses, economies and global events shape the world around us
• Curiosity, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn from experienced colleagues
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• The ability to work with information and draw meaningful conclusions
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• A proactive approach and a willingness to take initiative
• Candidates must have permanent authorization to work in the United States and not require current or future sponsorship for employment visa status
