The IT Audit Manager is responsible for leading independent assurance and risk advisory activities across technology, cybersecurity, data, cloud, AI, and business transformation initiatives that support MetLife's strategic objectives. This role provides leadership over audits and advisory engagements impacting Finance, Investment Management, Human Resources, Marketing, and other Corporate Functions, while serving as a trusted advisor to senior management and key business stakeholders.
The IT Audit Manager is expected to drive audit strategy, oversee complex engagements, develop team members, and influence risk management practices across some of MetLife’s most critical technology and business transformation initiatives. This is a highly visible leadership opportunity with exposure to executive leadership, enterprise-wide programs, and emerging technologies.

- Lead and oversee assurance and advisory engagements related to major business and technology transformation initiatives, including ERP modernization, cloud migrations, system implementations, digital transformation programs, and emerging technology adoption.
- Drive the development and execution of risk-based audit plans and contribute to annual risk assessment activities.
- Manage all phases of the audit lifecycle, including risk assessment, audit planning, scoping, resource allocation, fieldwork oversight, issue evaluation, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
- Present audit results, risk themes, and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear, concise, and impactful manner.
- Lead the use of analytics, automation, AI, and innovative audit techniques to enhance audit quality, efficiency, and coverage.

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Accounting, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in IT audit, technology risk management, cybersecurity, consulting, internal controls, or a related technology discipline.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex audit and advisory engagements, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders, and delivering high-quality results within established timelines and budget expectations.
- Strong knowledge of IT audit methodologies, cybersecurity frameworks, cloud technologies, ERP platforms (e.g., Workday, Oracle), data management, system integrations, and technology governance practices.
- Effective leadership, relationship management, and influencing skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.

- Experience supporting large-scale transformation programs, including cloud migrations, ERP implementations, digital modernization, data initiatives, and AI-enabled capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage analytics, automation, and AI tools to enhance audit effectiveness and risk coverage.
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CIA, CISSP, or equivalent.

The expected salary range for this position is $105,400 - $140,500. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
