IT/Cybersecurity Internship - Summer 2027

Firehawk Aerospace Inc. is hiring an IT/Cybersecurity Intern to support its IT and Cybersecurity teams. The intern will document standard operating procedures, capture tribal knowledge, build a sustainable knowledge base, and may assist with basic IT and cybersecurity tasks.

What you'll do:

• The IT/Cybersecurity Intern will support the IT and Cybersecurity teams by developing clear, accurate, and user‑friendly documentation of standard operating procedures. The role focuses on capturing tribal knowledge, translating it into formalized processes, and contributing to a sustainable knowledge base for ongoing IT operations. The intern may also assist with basic IT and cybersecurity tasks to help ensure that documented procedures align with security best practices

What they're looking for:

• Must be currently enrolled as a student of an undergraduate or graduate degree program in a related field with at least one semester remaining
• U.S. citizenship is required, and no current or future work authorization sponsorship is available
• Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
• Passion for aerospace or defense technology
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Requires U.S. Citizenship
• 6+ months prior internship experience with applicable skills is highly preferred
• GPA of 3.5 or above is preferred, but not required
