IT Data Analyst Intern

Glatfelter is a company with a legacy of delivering material solutions for over 160 years, and they are seeking an IT Data Analyst Intern to support data analysis and vendor management activities. The intern will gain hands-on experience in Excel and SAP systems while assisting with procurement and financial processes.

What you'll do:

• Assist with data analysis activities using Excel to support business needs
• Perform data functions such as VLOOKUPs, data transposition, and consolidation across multiple files
• Extract, organize, and analyze vendor-related data from SAP systems
• Maintain accuracy and integrity of data while managing large datasets
• Support procurement and financial data processes through reporting and analysis
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of data-related tasks
• Identify discrepancies in data and assist with data clean-up and validation efforts
• Gain exposure to SAP processes, particularly within procurement and financial modules
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and efficiency in completing assigned tasks

What they're looking for:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including functions such as VLOOKUP, data transposition, and working with large datasets
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to manage and organize data accurately and efficiently across multiple sources
• Basic understanding of data analysis concepts and reporting
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
• Interest in learning SAP, particularly within procurement and financial processes
• Rising Juniors or Seniors pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field
