Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
· Build infrastructure health dashboards utilizing visualization tools
· Work with metrics and monitoring data for log collection
· Define thresholds to represent current state of infrastructure solutions
· Document dashboard and reporting processes
- Collaborate with IT teams to build requirements and to demo progress
· Operate with Arconic IS standards and conventions and applicable Arconic BU/RU IT Standards
Key Objectives
· Build infrastructure and application dashboards to monitor the health of IT systems
· Learn and apply the applicable toolsets to solve real world business problems
· Add value to the company through key IT project and task deliverables
· Bring a new perspective and new ideas to IT efforts and processes
· Communicate professionally and effectively with a wide variety of people, via face to face, over the phone, via email, via Microsoft Teams and in writing
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
· Credits toward a bachelor’s degree in IS/IT or similar, from an accredited institution
· Relevant IT course work completed successfully
· Basic understanding of servers, databases, networking and IT infrastructure technologies
· Must have an expected graduation date in Fall 2027, Spring/Summer of 2028, or, Spring/Summer of 2029
· Current cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater
· Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
· This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S> person as a U.S> citizen, U.S> Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with reporting or data analysis
Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Python or similar)
Strong problem solving and communication skills
· Prior work experience in an IT role
· Leadership experience
