IT Planning & Project Analyst I

Boise Cascade Company is a building materials distributor and wood products manufacturer. The IT Planning & Project Analyst I supports information systems budgeting, purchasing, vendor management, financial processes, audits, renewals, service management, and organizational governance.

What you'll do:

• Participate in the budget process to assure adequate appropriation of funds and monitor actual expenses and capital appropriation requests for adherence to budget
• Coordinate the preparation, review, and consolidation of Information Systems budgets and business plans
• Responsible for centralized purchasing management and administration
• Work closely with multiple department leaders to understand business needs
• Participate in IT department monthly financial allocation and closing processes
• Seek to achieve the highest value service from vendors and evaluates vendor performance according to established performance metrics
• Liaison for IT teams for various IT renewals related to business systems, licensing, and hardware
• Participate in internal and external audits including vendor license compliance audits
• Support Service Management Framework processes and organizational governance policies
• Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience with Microsoft Power Suite
• Strong problem-solving skills with customer focus
• Ability to manage own time effectively in fast paced environment
• 4-year college degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or Communications and/or equivalent work experience in field
• Understand of basic project management concepts
