IT - Project Manager - Full Time

%3Cp%3EJob Summary:%3Cbr /%3EReporting to the IT Program Manager and frequently works work with Director level and below on various projects and initiatives. The complexity of projects expected for Project Manager include moderate to large-scale projects. The complexity and scale of the projects handled independently are typically involve up to campus-level or over 5 practices/departments with up to 7 various IT resources during project implementation. Works with limited autonomy under general supervision, requiring some instruction and guidance. Supports the PMO, IT, and eChart Departments and works with a variety of vendors. Is knowledgeable and proficient in project management processes, documentation, and project lifecycle. Also works with project team, end users, and vendors to gain an increased understanding of overall system integration and functionality. Responsible for creating and gathering information for project documentation, test plans, implementation plans, support documentation, and end user acceptance during various phases of the project. Responsible for tracking issues and leads the project team in performing analysis, trouble shooting, and then relays findings related to reported system issues. Coordinates communication, training, and downtime with the end users, stakeholders, and project team. Must be able to document and follow project change control procedures. Works closely with other IT staff, software vendors and operations to ensure that system integrity is maintained and that IT deliverables meet operational business needs. Researches, analyzes, and works with other team members to facilitate and implement business and system workflows in order to expedite process improvement and coordinate business practices. Identifies best practices and works with team to implement opportunities for standardization. Prepares activity and other reports as necessary. Provides some guidance and mentoring to other team members. Attains and maintains necessary certifications, as applicable, in a timely manner according to policy. This individual should have excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills along with highly effective written / verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
