What You'll Do

Information Technology (IT) team members are responsible for securely managing information systems throughout their lifecycle, including knowing what information systems are within their scope of responsibility, understanding what sensitive data is stored, transmitted, or processed on those information systems, enforcing the security principles of least privilege and least functionality, knowing what events may constitute an information security incident, and understanding their role in security incident response activities.

 

The IT Service Continuity Analyst Associate supports the IT Service Continuity Management program by applying established business continuity, disaster recovery, and operational resilience standards to facilitate completion of Business Impact Analyses, Disaster Recovery Plans, and related readiness activities. This role works with application, infrastructure, business, and operational teams to evaluate submitted information, identify gaps or inconsistencies, assess alignment with program standards, and escalate risks that may impact recovery readiness. The role supports patient safety, cyber resilience, and operational continuity by helping ensure critical applications and technology services have current, complete, actionable, and audit-ready recovery documentation.


What We're Looking For

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Information Technology or related field.
  • Experience:
    • 2 years Experience in a collaborative, customer-facing environment involving professional coordination, stakeholder engagement, documentation review, process analysis, risk management, healthcare operations, information technology, audit/compliance, or related program support, required.
    • 3 years Exposure to incident management, business continuity, disaster recovery, operational resilience, audit/compliance, risk management, or related planning, assessment, and readiness activities, preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Business continuity, disaster recovery, emergency management, ITIL, project management, or related professional certification, preferred.
  • Additional Skills (required):
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Strong attention to detail with the ability to evaluate documentation for completeness, consistency, and alignment with established standards.
    • Ability to learn new concepts, tools, and processes quickly.
    • Ability to manage assigned work, assess progress against program expectations, identify barriers, and escalate risks or delays appropriately.
    • Ability to apply guidance, exercise sound judgment, and continuously develop subject matter knowledge in IT service continuity, business continuity, and disaster recovery practices.
    • Ability to interpret program standards, templates, and documentation requirements and apply them consistently across multiple applications, services, and stakeholder groups.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Additional Skills (preferred):
    • Exposure to healthcare operations, information technology, project management, audit/compliance, emergency management, business continuity, disaster recovery, or risk management.
    • Familiarity with ServiceNow, Fusion Risk Management, SharePoint, or similar tracking/documentation tools.
    • Foundational understanding of business continuity, disaster recovery, operational resilience, cybersecurity, or healthcare technology concepts.
    • Business continuity, disaster recovery, emergency management, ITIL, or project management certification preferred but not required.
