Systems Engineer - Collaboration & Productivity Admin IV

We're looking for an experienced Jira/Confluence Atlassian Admin to join the IT systems team at Pinterest. You'll also lend SaaS admin support to other collaboration and productivity tools, such as Slack and PagerDuty, as needed. You'll help us build nimble, secure and scalable systems that are pivotal to our growing company. Instead of settling for easy solutions, you'll challenge yourself and your team to dream up and build even better ones. You should have strong systems skills and deep knowledge of IT best practices and technology.
 
What you will do:
· Provide application support for JIRA to Engineering and the rest of the business
· Onboard new teams to JIRA and help existing teams optimize their workflows
· Analyze requests for new JIRA functionality, implement new features, triage incoming support requests and handle or route appropriately
· Provide SaaS admin support for other collaboration and productivity tools, such as Slack and PagerDuty, as needed
· Provide systems-level support for the Atlassian (JIRA and Confluence) service and underlying apps (such as Insight, advanced roadmaps, etc.) dependencies
· Help with migration of Confluence from data center to cloud 
· Champion process improvement with customer teams and provide best practices when requirements are vague or inefficient

Required Skills:
· Extensive experience as a JIRA  administrator, with hands-on experience configuring and supporting the application
· Extensive experience with scripting and programming such as Python, Groovy and BASH
· Deep knowledge of custom workflows, configuring screens, fields, project schemes, and ScriptRunner for JIRA
· Experience with plugins like Scriptrunner, Zephyr, etc.
· Familiar with the Atlassian product life-cycle as it relates to upgrades and installing/configuring new add-ons
· UNIX and network fundamentals desired (particularly in AWS environments) and experience with modern systems management tools like ansible, and Docker
· Strong collaboration and customer service skills with the ability to build trust among IT and customer/ stakeholders
· SaaS admin experience with Slack is a plus
 
Experience needed:
· 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (3 - 5 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Systems, Information Technology or Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience
· Experience administering and managing JIRA Data Center
· Experience with scripting and programming such as Python, Groovy and BASH
· Experience with Linux Administration
· Experience managing multiple Jira and Confluence plugins.
· Experience administering SaaS collaboration tools such as Slack is a plus
