About this role
JPMorganChase’s J.P. Morgan Wealth Management business provides investment and wealth management services through digital, remote, branch, and office-based channels. The Associate will research the wealth management landscape, develop strategic product and platform opportunities, partner with cross-functional stakeholders on implementation, and translate advisor and client feedback into product improvements.
What you'll do:
- Work across different lines of business and client channels including digital, remote, branch, and office-based
- Conduct research and analysis on the competitive landscape in wealth management, identifying best-in-class competitors and secular trends
- Assist in developing the business case, strategic vision, roadmap, governance framework, and success metrics of relevant opportunities
- Partner with stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize enhancements, and support implementation of initiatives that deliver innovative and transformational change
- Translate advisor and client feedback into actionable product improvements
- Develop subject matter expertise across the investment products and platforms that we support and serve as a trusted resource for cross-functional partners
What they're looking for:
- 1+ years of experience in financial services or management consulting
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- A valid and active Series 7 license is required or must be obtained within 120 days of starting in the role as a condition of employment
- If you were registered after October 1, 2018 you must also have a valid and active Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam
- A valid and active Series 66 (63/65) is required or must be obtained within 120 days of starting in the role as a condition of employment
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to structure complex problems and develop data-driven recommendations
- Intellectual curiosity and a strong interest in investment products and wealth management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially PowerPoint and Excel
- Master's degree in a relevant field or progress towards a CFA or CFP designation
- Experience in investment project / program management
