Jr. AI/ML Business Analyst

Dutech Systems is seeking a Jr. AI/ML Business Analyst to bridge business needs and technology solutions. The role focuses on gathering requirements, analyzing business problems, developing automation prototypes, applying AI/ML models and APIs, supporting integrations and testing, and collaborating in an Agile development environment.

What you'll do:

• Collaborate with business units to understand operational procedures, data requirements, and reporting needs
• Gather, analyze, and document business and user requirements
• Develop workflow diagrams, system specifications, and technical documentation for new or modified applications
• Analyze business problems and recommend technology-driven solutions
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost/benefit analysis for proposed solutions
• Assist with developing Python scripts and prototypes for process automation and AI-driven features
• Use Bash scripting for system-level automation and deployment activities
• Apply pre-built AI/ML models and APIs to business use cases
• Support data integration and API development activities
• Review system capabilities, technical constraints, and requirements for alignment with applicable TxDOT standards
• Support testing, validation, troubleshooting, and implementation of new solutions
• Work in an Agile/rapid development environment to quickly prototype and improve solutions

What they're looking for:

• At least **1 year of experience** collaborating with business units to understand operational processes, data requirements, and reporting needs
• At least **1 year of experience** documenting user requirements, workflows, and system specifications
• At least **1 year of experience** performing feasibility studies and cost/benefit analysis
• At least **1 year of experience** developing scripts or prototypes to automate processes and integrate AI-driven capabilities
• At least **1 year of experience** reviewing system capabilities and constraints against organizational or technical standards
• At least **1 year of experience** supporting testing and validation of technology solutions
• Understanding of **AI/ML fundamentals** and experience working with pre-built models or APIs
• Proficiency in **Python** for data processing and automation
• Experience with **Bash scripting**
• Knowledge of **data integration and API development**
• Exposure to **Azure or AWS** cloud platforms
• Exposure to **Docker/containerization**
