Jr Engineer - Product Security Compliance

Elo Touch Solutions develops touchscreen hardware and software products and is seeking a Junior Engineer focused on product security compliance. The role supports cybersecurity conformity assessments, regulatory documentation, secure product development, SBOM maintenance, vulnerability tracking, and communication of technical and regulatory requirements to stakeholders.

What you'll do:

• Perform conformity assessments of Elo hardware and software products against applicable EU cybersecurity regulations (CRA, RED-DA), including mapping product features and processes to essential requirements and preparing supporting technical documentation
• Support cybersecurity best practices during New Product Introduction (NPI) and production, working cross-functionally with hardware, firmware, and software engineering teams
• Help build and maintain Software Bills of Materials (SBOMs) and support basic vulnerability identification and tracking processes
• Support Elo's broader security and regulatory efforts as they evolve (NIS2, CER, EU AI Act, etc.)
• Translate complex technical and regulatory requirements for engineering and business stakeholders
• Other duties and responsibilities assigned by manager

What they're looking for:

• * Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, EE, or related technical field
• * Understanding of basic cybersecurity concepts in HW and SW
• * Ability to independently interpret security regulations/frameworks
• * Clear technical writing and documentation
• * Ability to use a computer
• * Ability to physically setup, operate, interact with Elo hardware and software for testing and evaluation
• * Ability to travel domestically
• * CompTIA Security+ certification or similar
• * ISO 27001 or IEC 62443 audit experience
• * Familiarity with one or more of: IEC 62443, ETSI EN 303 645, ISO/SAE 21434, or EN 18031/RED cybersecurity requirements
