About this role
Chenega Services & Federal Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services company, is seeking a Junior Data Analyst to support client missions through data-driven decision-making. The role focuses on transforming complex structured and unstructured data into insights, developing metrics and reports, presenting findings, and quality-controlling dashboards and reports.
What you'll do:
- Collaborate with project requestors, stakeholders, and project managers to refine project requests and clarify business needs and objectives
- Establish quantitative and qualitative metrics and key performance indicators to drive technical outcomes
- Support the preparation of reports and briefs on analyses and dashboard functionality for various internal teams
- Present data findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders using your data analytics expertise
- Review and quality control new and exiting dashboards and/or reports prior to customer release
- Other duties as assigned
What they're looking for:
- 1+ year of experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, or data mining
- 1+ years of experience with data manipulation using statistical software
- Experience delivering analytical insights through written reports, verbal communication, and formal presentations
- Experience using Power BI, SharePoint, Tableau, and systems or databases to analyze trends and anomalies
- Knowledgeable of scripting language such as Python, SQL, R, SAS, to extract data and perform analytics and visualizations
- Ability to identify and report on data quality issues
- Ability to clearly convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders and provide presentation samples
- Ability to maintain accuracy while dealing with large data sets with high attention to detail and quality
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
- Bachelor's degree
