Junior Data Analyst

Chenega Services & Federal Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services company, is seeking a Junior Data Analyst to support client missions through data-driven decision-making. The role focuses on transforming complex structured and unstructured data into insights, developing metrics and reports, presenting findings, and quality-controlling dashboards and reports.

What you'll do:

• Collaborate with project requestors, stakeholders, and project managers to refine project requests and clarify business needs and objectives
• Establish quantitative and qualitative metrics and key performance indicators to drive technical outcomes
• Support the preparation of reports and briefs on analyses and dashboard functionality for various internal teams
• Present data findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders using your data analytics expertise
• Review and quality control new and exiting dashboards and/or reports prior to customer release
• Other duties as assigned

What they're looking for:

• 1+ year of experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, or data mining
• 1+ years of experience with data manipulation using statistical software
• Experience delivering analytical insights through written reports, verbal communication, and formal presentations
• Experience using Power BI, SharePoint, Tableau, and systems or databases to analyze trends and anomalies
• Knowledgeable of scripting language such as Python, SQL, R, SAS, to extract data and perform analytics and visualizations
• Ability to identify and report on data quality issues
• Ability to clearly convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders and provide presentation samples
• Ability to maintain accuracy while dealing with large data sets with high attention to detail and quality
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
• Bachelor's degree
