Junior Developer

Best Logistics Group is seeking a motivated Junior Software Developer to join its Information Technology team. The role supports application development, data integration, business process automation, and EDI projects while using technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server, version control tools, and AI-assisted development tools.

What you'll do:

• Assist in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining applications and integrations supporting business operations
• Write and maintain Microsoft SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and other database-related solutions
• Utilize source code repositories and version control tools, such as Git, to manage development projects
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, troubleshoot issues, and explore solutions while following company security and development standards
• Assist with EDI integrations, data mapping, and troubleshooting electronic transactions with customers and business partners
• Support existing applications, investigate reported issues, and implement enhancements
• Collaborate with developers, IT team members, and business departments to understand requirements and develop practical solutions
• Create and maintain technical documentation for applications, integrations, and processes
• Participate in application testing, debugging, and deployment activities
• Research new technologies and identify opportunities to improve existing processes through development and automation
