Junior Electrical Engineer

LaBella Associates provides building engineering services across electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and structural disciplines. The company is seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer to support building projects by developing designs, drawings, specifications, reports, calculations, field investigations, and construction administration deliverables.

What you'll do:

• Work with other engineers as part of a Project Team to develop concepts, strategies, designs, drawings, specifications, and reports
• Prepare electrical design drawings using Revit and AutoCAD
• Perform lighting calculations and arc flash studies
• Perform field investigations to document existing conditions
• Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a professional manner with co-workers, staff, project managers, other disciplines, and all other employees
• Expected to improve current knowledge of technologies and trends, as they apply to the applicable project and market types, and continually strengthens skills

What they're looking for:

• An interest in building systems, and a curiosity to want to learn more
• Bachelor's or Associates Degree in electrical engineering or related field required
• Strong writing, organizational and communications skills
• Ability to work on several projects simultaneously
• EIT certification is a plus
• Background in AutoCAD and/or Revit is preferred
• Experience in the A/E consulting business is a plus
