Junior Financial Analyst/Consultant

Artemis Consulting, LLC is seeking a junior-level financial management analyst/consultant to support the Department of the Navy and NAVWAR. The role provides accounting and financial management support, including budget execution, reconciliations, reporting, forecasting, and analysis for government clients.

What you'll do:

• Enter, maintain, extract, manipulate, and report financial data from multiple financial systems
• Process vendor funding actions, including required financial data entry, execution, and tracking
• Prepare account reconciliations and perform financial research to ensure funding accuracy and consistency
• Extract and analyze financial data from government systems, including Navy ERP (N-ERP)
• Compile and present financial information through spreadsheets, reports, presentations, and dashboards
• Prepare and analyze monthly execution and performance reports
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling activities
• Respond to ad hoc financial reporting and variance analysis requests from clients
• Utilize advanced Excel functions, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs, for data analysis and reporting
• Communicate findings, recommendations, and financial insights to stakeholders

• Strong problem-solving skills with minimal supervision
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (daily use required)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Access
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Ability to obtain a SECRET government security clearance (TS/SCI may be required for specific projects)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau preferred
