The role focuses on designing and developing responsive, accessible frontend interfaces and intuitive user experiences for advanced visualization products, while collaborating with engineers, scientists, developers, and stakeholders.
What you'll do:
- Build responsive, accessible, high-performance front-end interfaces with exceptional attention to detail
- Develop and implement intuitive user experiences for advanced visualization products to enhance data analysis and decision-making processes
- Partner with developers, engineers, scientists, and stakeholders to align vision and deliver cohesive solutions
- Foster innovation by staying current with emerging technologies and industry best practices
What they're looking for:
- * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Design, or related STEM discipline
- * At least 2 years of experience in frontend design and/or development (post bachelors completed)
- * Proficiency in TypeScript and modern web frontend frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue
- * Demonstrated ability in user research, usability testing, rapid prototyping, and accessibility
- * Proven ability to present complex concepts to diverse audiences, from engineers to executives
- * This position requires ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the US government. U.S citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance
- * Master's or Ph.D. in HCI, Computer Science, Design, or Human Factors
- * Experience with rapid prototyping tools and methodologies
- * Proficiency with Blender, Maya, 3DS Max, or equivalent modeling tools
- * Excellent interpersonal skills, including a demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of customers and staff
- * Experience building and maintaining large-scale design systems
- * Previous experience working with aerospace or defense industry clients
