Junior Full Stack Developer

PetVet Care Centers provides compassionate veterinary care through a network of locally led hospitals supported by national resources. The Junior Full Stack Developer will support the development, maintenance, testing, and improvement of internal enterprise applications using Angular, .NET, and SQL Server, progressing toward end-to-end ownership of applications.

What you'll do:

• Write, test, and maintain clean, simple code in Angular, .NET, and SQL Server under guidance from senior team members
• After a few months, the developer will own 1-2 enterprise applications end to end (front end and back end)
• Fix bugs and resolve production issues
• Work with other departments and end users to continuously fix and improve existing applications
• Learn the existing codebase and development processes
• Participate in code reviews and team meetings
• Assist with feature development, documentation, gathering user feedback and testing
• Collaborate with other developers to understand requirements and improve skills
• Continuously learn new tools, and best practices

What they're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
• Foundational knowledge of object-oriented programming and software development principles
• Familiarity with C# and/or the .NET platform through coursework, internships, personal projects, or professional experience
• Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL
• Experience with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, or CSS is preferred
• SQL Server experience is preferred
