JUNIOR FULL STACK DEVELOPER

VSolvit is a technology services provider seeking a Junior Full Stack Developer to expand their technical expertise across front-end and back-end development. The role involves building responsive user interfaces, maintaining server-side applications and REST APIs, working with PostgreSQL databases, and participating in testing, debugging, code reviews, and Agile/Scrum ceremonies.

What you'll do:

• Build responsive, user-friendly UI components using HTML5, CSS3, React, and JavaScript/TypeScript. Optimize applications for usability and performance
• Assist in building and maintaining server-side applications, REST APIs, and backend services using C#/.NET
• Work with PostgreSQL databases for data storage and query optimization; support the integration of dashboards and data visualization tools
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Participate in testing, debugging, and code reviews
• Utilize Git for version control and Jira for task tracking. Active participation in Agile/Scrum team ceremonies

What they're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent internship/project experience)
• 1–2 years of academic, internship, or professional experience with React and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Strong foundational understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design
• Academic exposure to or familiarity with C# / .NET and PostgreSQL (or relational databases)
• Familiarity with Git version control and basic Agile concepts
• Excellent communication skills and a strong desire to learn from senior developers
• US Citizenship required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance
• Experience with Vite, Vue.js, or additional front-end frameworks
• Familiarity with Jira and Agile project management tools
• Exposure to SAFe Agile or Agile methodologies and team environments
• Understanding of relational database concepts and SQL queries
