Junior/Mid-Tier Data Scientist (Sim/Eval)

Tensor Auto is an agentic AI company focused on building innovative products like the Tensor Robocar. They are seeking talented data scientists/analysts to join their simulation/evaluation organization to develop quantitative evaluation methodologies for self-driving car systems.

What you'll do:

• Sample and process large datasets from self-driving car logs to evaluate new software in simulation environment
• Define and develop metrics for target problem clusters of onboard systems, develop statistical analysis
• Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and solutions of evaluating self-driving car behavior and reliability problems in simulation

What they're looking for:

• Master or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related fields
• 2+ years of experience in data science/analyst or related role
• 1+ years of experiences of data sampling, quantitative evaluation and A/B testing
• Strong Python programming skills
• Proficiency in SQL and working with large database
• Excellent communication, strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Experience with autonomous vehicle technology or robotics
• Experience with machine learning based data analysis
• Experience leading cross-functional collaborations
