Junior Software Engineer

CompleteCare, Inc. is a growing multidisciplinary healthcare organization committed to helping injured patients recover while investing in innovative technology. They are seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join their engineering team, where the successful candidate will support an enterprise technology modernization initiative and gain hands-on experience in software development.

What you'll do:

• Assist in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining enterprise software applications
• Develop backend services and RESTful APIs under the guidance of senior engineers
• Assist with development of ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) processes supporting enterprise data integration
• Write SQL queries and assist with database development activities
• Participate in application testing, debugging, and defect resolution
• Assist with software integration between enterprise systems
• Participate in code reviews and apply feedback from senior engineers
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Participate in Agile planning, sprint activities, and daily team collaboration
• Learn and apply modern software engineering practices, development standards, and coding conventions
• Collaborate with architects, senior engineers, and business stakeholders throughout the project

What they're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering from an accredited university or college
• 0–2 years of professional software development experience
• Experience programming in Java or Python through coursework, internships, personal projects, or professional experience
• Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases
• Familiarity with object-oriented programming principles
• Basic understanding of REST APIs
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and work collaboratively within a team environment
• Internship or co-op experience in software development
• Experience with React or modern JavaScript frameworks
