Junior Software Engineer (Full Stack)

Awetomaton Ltd builds software that enables humans to make informed decisions from raw intelligence data, specializing in satellite collection. The Junior Software Engineer will support customers at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base by refining application requirements and developing web applications for searching, discovering, visualizing, and retrieving data.

What you'll do:

• In this role you will interface with end-users to understand and refine requirements for applications supporting mission needs
• You will be applying expertise in JavaScript and modern web frameworks to enable rapid search, discovery, visualization, and retrieval of data

• Ability to work and collaborate effectively both within a team and independently
• Demonstrate initiative when faced with limited guidance or ambiguous requirements
• Experience in modern web application technologies including TypeScript, React, NodeJS, etc
• Experience in building and integrating RESTful APIs and server-side logic using Python
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Engineering discipline
• 0 to 3 years of minimum experience in a software focused engineering career (Software Engineer, Computer Science, etc.)
• 0 to 3 years of experience developing web applications with React
• 0 to 3 years of minimum experience in JavaScript / TypeScript, CSS/SASS/LESS, HTML
• 0 to 3 years of experience developing applications with Python
• 0 to 3 years experience with software configuration management using Git
