Junior Software Engineer, Part-Time AI Code Evaluation - Remote (United States)

OpenTrain AI connects software engineers with part-time AI training work. In this role, you will create software engineering challenges, evaluate AI-generated code, develop solutions and tests, and provide detailed feedback on technical decisions and model performance.

What you'll do:

• Build realistic software engineering challenges drawn from day-to-day development work
• Assess AI-written code for correctness, maintainability and design quality
• Produce runnable solutions and accompanying test cases for those challenges
• Explain technical decisions, design weaknesses and model performance in detailed written feedback

What they're looking for:

• Have at least one year working professionally as a software engineer, with experience during the past three years
• Have working knowledge of software architecture, algorithms, code review, data structures and debugging
• Have professional fluency in English and write clearly about technical subjects
