We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to join IQVIA Laboratories at Valencia, CA.

Job Summary:

Perform routine laboratory testing procedures to generate accurate data for use in clinical trials research while ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards. This position follows a Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM shift.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Perform routine analysis of specimens and document results in accordance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines
  • Evaluate analytical data for accuracy using laboratory systems and defined algorithms
  • Identify unusual results or performance issues and escalate to senior lab personnel
  • Prepare buffers, reagents, and solutions required for laboratory analysis
  • Maintain proper storage and handling of samples and reagents post-analysis
  • Support the development and documentation of laboratory procedures and techniques
  • Maintain laboratory cleanliness and organization in alignment with 6S standards
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams regarding workflow and results

What We Are Looking For:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; some lab locations may require a Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or medical laboratory technology
  • 6 months relevant lab experience Req Or Equivalent combination of education, training and experience Req
  • Basic knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and regulatory standards
  • Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation, equipment, and analytical techniques
  • Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree

The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed for This Role:

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately record and interpret data
  • Ability to manage workflow and maintain effective reporting procedures
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with internal stakeholders
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, close eye work requirement (computer, typing, reading small prints). Physical demands vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks. Occasional exposure to cold temperatures.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $34,700.00 - $72,300.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
