The Duke Comparative Oncology Group, in conjunction with the Department of Orthopaedics at Duke University Medical Center, is seeking a Lab Research Analyst I to work at the nexus of comparative evolutionary biology and cancer. The Lab Analyst I will work as part of a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, veterinarians, and PhD researchers who use a cross-species comparative approach to understanding and treating cancer.

Minimum Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree in botany, biology, zoology, psychology, or other directly related scientific field.
• Two years of research experience. A related master’s degree may offset required years of experience on a 1:1 basis, e.g., a two-year master’s degree in lieu of two years of experience.

• Teach undergraduate and graduate students basic laboratory techniques.
• Conduct basic benchtop experimental work.
