Lead System Engineer (USSSPACECOM Warfighter Liaison)

Overview:

APEX TK is looking for an amazingly talented Lead System Engineer (USSSPACECOM Warfighter Liaison) to join our team! In this role you will get to contribute to Space Command and Control (C2) capability development, and provide credible advice to the Government customers in Missile Defense Agency C2BMC, SPACE Community C2, and Combatant Commander Staffs on a daily basis.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead a group of project teams in the application of advanced principles, theories, and concepts. 

• Contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas. 

• Provide advice and counsel to the organization in area of expertise. 

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Master's degree and 12+ years of experience supporting missile defense programs or other related defense programs. (A Bachelor’s degree and 20+ years of relevant experience can be considered in lieu of Master’s degree)

• Active Secret Clearance

• Knowledge of the Missile Defense System and the Space Command and Control organization.

• Excellent communication skills required. 

• Ability to work with various levels of Warfighting Staff by providing Information that can be turned into knowledge.

• Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems

• Have an understanding of the Overhead Persistent Inferred Capability and how it supports the C2BMC Program
