Position Summary

The Department of Management in the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia invites applications for a full time, non-tenure track faculty position at the lecturer level starting August 2027.

We seek individuals who can provide high-quality instruction at the undergraduate and MBA levels within the general management area with broad teaching interests in principles of management, human resources management, leadership, ethics, or strategy as well as other topics, as needed. The successful candidate will also be proactively involved in departmental service and undergraduate or master student mentoring.

The position may be renewed annually, contingent on performance, and promotion to Senior Lecturer is possible after six years of service. Compensation is competitive.

Additional Requirements

If not terminally degree qualified, at a minimum, a Master’s degree is required with 5 or more years of private- or public-sector work experience in management or related areas. Candidates with a master’s degree must document exceptional accomplishments in management or a related area and must be approved for a terminal degree exception before hire.
