Liberty Mutual Insurance has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Legal Office Manager. In this position you will coordinate the operation of the Legal Office including the management of non-exempt personnel and the resolution of personnel and office/operational issues.
Typical starting salary is $107,000-$122,000
Responsibilities:
- Provide a broad range of administrative and advanced level secretarial duties.
- Handle administrative tasks of confidential nature requiring initiative and judgment necessary for the operation of the legal office exercising initiative and judgment on a regular basis.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in a law office or comparable legal environment, with demonstrated progressively increasing responsibility.
• Prior experience managing or leading a team of law office administrative personnel in a legal or professional services environment strongly preferred.
• Strong administrative, supervisory, and management skills with proven ability to organize, prioritize, and lead operational activities across multiple locations or practice areas.
• Comprehensive knowledge of office procedures, document management, and legal administrative best practices, including court filing requirements, regulatory compliance standards, and data quality protocols.

Pay Philosophy: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
