Lending Workforce Optimization Intern

## Job Description The Workforce Optimization team partners with Lending business leaders to ensure the right staffing strategies are in place to meet operational demand and member needs. Through workforce planning, forecasting, scheduling, reporting, and data analysis, the team provides actionable insights that improve efficiency, optimize resource utilization, and support strategic decision-making across the organization. To optimize the performance of business operations by analyzing current and forecasting future performance. Apply various analytical techniques to solve operational issues and support strategic initiatives. Work under minimal supervision. A requirement of this position is you must be currently enrolled in college level courses or a degree-seeking program throughout the duration of the internship. Please upload your transcripts by clicking the “Attach Cover Letter" button during your application. ## Responsibilities - Provide support to the Workforce Management department of Lending; may work on small projects or portions of larger projects - Support Lending business strategy and initiatives - Assist and collaborate with various levels of staff to accomplish tasks/assignments - Perform research and basic analysis; may include quantitative and/or qualitative analysis - Maintain professionalism in all interactions with teammates and business partners - Attend meetings with various Lending departments and Workforce Management maintaining detailed notes of discussions and important action items - Perform routine audits of system data to ensure accuracy needed to support forecasting and scheduling functions - Process and update data in automated systems; may generate and analyze reports - Perform other duties as assigned ## Qualifications - Must be pursuing a degree from an accredited college/university - Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills - Effective research, analytical, and problem solving skills - Effective skill maintaining accuracy with attention to detail and meeting deadlines - Ability to exercise initiative and good judgment to make sound decisions - Ability to adapt to new technologies - Effective word processing and spreadsheet software skills - Effective time management skills - Ability to work independently and in a team environment ## Desired Qualifications - Exposure to data analytics - Administrative/clerical experience - The ability to work independently with a high level of attention to detail - Committed to self-development, both independently and from a mentor - Ability to contribute to the design of reports and presentations
