About this role
Summary
The Logistics Manager will be responsible for assisting with the daily functions of the Resource Connection including performing supervisory and coordination duties for Resource Connection Campus inventories and operations. Manage employees and communications to ensure good working relationships with campus tenants, , vendors, other County departments, and community partners. Utilize knowledge of County systems, computer skills, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and computer skills to monitor and maintain multiple service contracts, inventories and ensures campus and buildings operate efficiently. Utilize computer skills to purchase, receive, and record necessary supplies and equipment for Resource Connection Campus operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Prioritizes and assigns work to employees to maintain multiple Resource Connection Campus inventories, event coordination duties, service contracts, and vehicle fleet operations.
- Ensures requisitions and receipts for materials and services are received and entered into SAP and inventory systems.
- Answers questions and serves as the centralized point of communication between Resource Connection Campus tenants, employees, Facilities, and external partners regarding Resource Connection Campus locations.
- Coordinates the work of service contracts, events, tenants and in-house staff to minimize disruptions in campus and department’s workflow.
- Creates, maintains, and disperses reports, logs, spreadsheets, and other documentation as required to ensure proper inventory and assists Director with Resource Connection and other County lease and contract agreements.
- Oversees the annual inventory audit.
- Analyzes, develops, and administers procedures required to meet the goals of assigned projects.
- Oversees and makes recommendations regarding the Resource Connection campus vehicle fleet operations and operating budget. Controls expenses within the assigned budget.
- Visits and communicates with building occupants to ensure that their needs are met and solicits suggestions for improvements.
- Trains employees on the proper safety and operation of building systems.
- Performs all other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to stay organized and know how to prioritize the workload.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Competency with computers and Microsoft Office 365 Suite, and have knowledge of spreadsheets and word processing.
- Advanced analytical skills.
- Must have experience in a computerized inventory system
- Must have knowledge of basic building and campus operations and life safety systems.
Minimum Requirements
- Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent
- Five (5) years of experience in inventory operations, three (3) years of building operations management experience, and one (1) year of supervisory experience required (can be non-concurrent).
- Current and valid driver’s license required.
