By bringing together diverse expertise and perspectives, the team delivers a cutting-edge product designed to meet the evolving needs of our clients and their customers. ## What you will be doing As a Mainframe Software Engineer, you will contribute to the development, enhancement, and support of critical card management and payment processing solutions. You will design, develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications that support transaction processing, reconciliation, settlement, compliance, and modernization initiatives. Success in this role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, secure, and reliable solutions. You will play a key role in regulatory compliance, product enhancements, production support, and continuous improvement efforts. - Develop, enhance, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL and related technologies. - Design and execute comprehensive unit tests to validate application functionality and performance. - Collaborate with business, product, quality assurance, and engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle. - Conduct peer code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development standards. - Participate in technical design discussions, code walkthroughs, and solution reviews. - Create and maintain technical documentation, test evidence, and change records to support audit and compliance requirements. ## What you bring - COBOL Programming Fundamentals.
