About this role
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical equipment and manufacturing machinery.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and production equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical circuits, motors, controls, sensors, and other electrical components.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Install, replace, and repair electrical components and equipment as needed.
- Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and assist with control system issues.
- Work with electrical panels, motor controls, VFDs, relays, contactors, sensors, and related components.
- Perform electrical testing using appropriate diagnostic equipment.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and production maintenance needs in a timely manner.
- Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and improvements.
- Document completed maintenance work and communicate equipment issues to supervisors.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and applicable electrical safety requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform other maintenance duties as assigned.
- Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 1+ year previous experience in industrial electrical maintenance or a related manufacturing environment.
