Manufacturing Electrical Engineer Intern - Summer 2027

AMERICAN is a manufacturer serving the waterworks, oil, and natural gas industries. The Manufacturing Electrical Engineer Intern will gain practical experience and mentorship while assisting with electrical troubleshooting, operations, and the maintenance of electrical documentation in a manufacturing environment.

What you'll do:

• Assist engineers with troubleshooting electrical issues and day-to-day operations
• Help update and maintain electrical drawings, schematics, and documentation

• Electrical Engineering
• Available to start Summer 2027
• Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Basic knowledge of CAD software, PLCs, or industrial controls
• Strong computer, technical, and problem-solving skills
• Good work ethic and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate with operators, supervisors, and engineers
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
