Marketing and Communications Intern

Agency Eight is a creator and influencer marketing agency serving brands across beauty, wellness, food and beverage, and lifestyle. The Marketing and Communications Intern will help grow the agency’s marketing presence while supporting its founder’s personal brand, press profile, social channels, website, and content strategy.

What you'll do:

• Research and manage submissions for relevant press opportunities, recognition lists and awards for Auri (Forbes 30 Under 30 and similar industry lists), including tracking deadlines and pulling together supporting materials
• Support broader press and PR outreach to help raise Auri's and Agency Eight's public profile
• Develop and maintain content calendars and posting strategy for Agency Eight owned social channels including Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok
• Develop launch strategy for Agency Eight’s TikTok
• Support updates and improvements to the Agency Eight website
• Help define a consistent voice and visual identity across all of our channels
• Track what's working across channels and flag ideas for what to try next

What they're looking for:

• Interest in marketing, communications, PR, or social media, ideally with some exposure to the creator, influencer, or agency world
• Comfortable on Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok, both as a user and as someone who can run a business account
• Social content creation experience, including CapCut or similar apps
• Strong writer with a good eye for content, detail-oriented, and organized enough to manage a few channels at once
• Self-starter who's comfortable working directly with leadership on a small team, this role will have real ownership from day one
• Minimum 10 hours a week, ideally 15+
• Prior internship or coursework in marketing or communications is a plus, but not required
