About this role
CAMS is a provider of project, asset management, commercial, and operational services for power generation, exploration and production, and midstream energy sectors. The Marketing and Communications Intern will support marketing and communications projects, create and distribute content, assist with events and reports, and present internship work and recommendations to company leadership.
What you'll do:
- Edit and publish high-quality communication materials (e.g., presentations, flyers, press releases) with accuracy and consistency
- Draft content for internal and external channels, including social media, websites, and reports
- Research and develop innovative content ideas for earned and owned media platforms
- Support planning and execution of company events (e.g., conferences, holiday parties) and daily office tasks (e.g., badge activation, floorplans)
- Assist in creating and compiling informational reports
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive end-of-summer presentation to the CEO and leadership team, summarizing key projects, insights, and actionable recommendations based on internship work
What they're looking for:
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's Degree program in Communications, Marketing, Business, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field (expected graduation: Dec 2026 or May 2027)
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Professional demeanor with strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines efficiently
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, dependable, proactive, and collaborative across all organizational levels
- Results-driven with the ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States
- Qualified Applicants will not require employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future for employment in the United States
- 3.5+ GPA
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud or video editing platforms is a plus
