About this role
Music Will is a national nonprofit music education organization that transforms lives through music education. The Marketing & Communications Intern will support nonprofit marketing, communications, digital storytelling, content development, branding, digital marketing, and project coordination through hands-on assignments and mentorship.
What you'll do:
- Assist with drafting content for social media, email campaigns, blogs, or other communications
- Support research projects related to media outreach, communications strategy, and audience engagement
- Organize and maintain digital assets, including photos, videos, and marketing materials
- Assist with website updates, content reviews, and quality assurance
- Conduct research and compile reports to support marketing campaigns and strategic initiatives
- Help maintain brand consistency across communications and digital assets
- Support outreach and relationship management efforts with artists, educators, or community partners
- Collaborate on marketing and communications projects, campaigns, and organizational initiatives as needed
- Participate in department meetings, planning discussions, and professional development opportunities
- Receive and incorporate coaching and feedback through regular supervisory meetings
- Complete a semester-long project or portfolio piece demonstrating key learning outcomes

- • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field
- • Participating in the internship for academic credit or another formal educational requirement through an accredited college or university
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills
- • Experience using Google Workspace
