Marketing & Communications Intern

Rescue Mission Alliance is a nonprofit organization focused on providing food, shelter, clothing, and hope to people in need. The Marketing & Communications Intern will support digital marketing, direct mail, social media, content creation, experiential marketing, and fundraising campaigns while helping analyze promotional data and maintain brand consistency.

What you'll do:

• Create and execute digital marketing initiatives, including social media content, promotional graphics, and written copy
• Support digital marketing, direct mail, fundraising collateral, campaigns, and experiential marketing initiatives
• Document, analyze, and evaluate historical promotional data to identify opportunities for improvement
• Contribute to strategies designed to increase engagement with the Rescue Mission’s digital content
• Help maintain brand consistency across organizational materials and communications
• Collaborate with Marketing & Communications staff and other departments as needed
• Work within the Rescue Mission’s policies, procedures, and mission statement
• Maintain regular and predictable in-person attendance
• Promote a safety-first approach by following applicable safety policies and procedures
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned

What they're looking for:

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
• Strong written communication skills
• Familiarity with social media platforms
• Interest in nonprofit work and community impact
• Ability to work collaboratively, stay organized, and manage multiple assignments
• Commitment to supporting the Rescue Mission's mission by putting love into action through food, shelter, clothing, and hope
• Familiarity with Canva, Adobe, or similar design tools is a plus
