About this role
DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel San Diego - Del Mar is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support marketing strategies that attract and retain customers. The role assists with campaigns, media communications, market analysis, multimedia content, promotional events, community relationships, and social media management.
What you'll do:
- Assist in executing marketing campaigns across multiple channels
- Support the development of media communication plans and liaise with media outlets and advertising agencies as needed
- Coordinate with General Managers and Sales Directors for media communication during incidents
- Brainstorm and contribute creative ideas for innovative marketing initiatives
- Assist in managing marketing budgets and tracking expenses
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities
- Stay updated on the latest marketing trends, tools, and technologies
- Collaborate on the creation of multimedia content, including presentations, posters, signage, and other collateral
- Organize and participate in trade shows, sales blitzes, and other promotional events
- Maintain relationships with local civic groups, businesses, and community organizations
- Manage social media accounts by creating, scheduling, and analyzing content to ensure engagement and growth
- Other duties as assigned

- 1–2 years of marketing experience, preferably within the hospitality industry, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Experience in campaign coordination, social media management, and multimedia content creation
- Familiarity with budgeting, market research, and community engagement initiatives
- Associate's Degree considered
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communication, Business, or a related field preferred
