Marketing Coordinator

The Mills House is a historic hospitality hotel in Charleston, South Carolina. The Marketing Coordinator supports the hotel’s brand visibility and marketing efforts by managing restaurant social media accounts, designing collateral, and coordinating marketing projects.

What you'll do:

• Under the leadership of the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Coordinator plays a vital part in the brand building and visibility of the hotel and its restaurants
• This role manages the social media accounts for Iron Rose Restaurant and The Black Door Café, designs key collateral pieces, coordinates marketing projects and more

What they're looking for:

• BA/BS Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field or equivalent experience
• A minimum of one (1) year of professional experience in Marketing or related field
• Excellent project management and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Sales, communications, and presentation skills
• Marketing and digital marketing expertise
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud programs, especially InDesign
• Manages time well, correctly prioritizes and is flexible
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
• Demonstrate self-confidence, energy and enthusiasm
