Marketing Coordinator

INOVA Federal Credit Union is seeking a creative, motivated, and results-driven Marketing Coordinator to join our growing Marketing team. This role will involve developing and executing marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and strengthen member engagement while providing hands-on experience in various aspects of modern marketing.

What you'll do:

• Assist in planning and executing integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional marketing channels
• Design engaging graphics, advertisements, social media content, email campaigns, brochures, and promotional materials while maintaining brand consistency
• Manage and update website content using the organization's Content Management System (CMS)
• Assist with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) initiatives and website optimization
• Create, schedule, and manage content across the Credit Union's social media platforms while monitoring engagement and performance
• Assist in managing Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other digital advertising campaigns
• Monitor marketing performance using Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), social media analytics, and other reporting tools
• Develop reports measuring website traffic, campaign performance, digital advertising ROI, and member engagement
• Assist with email marketing campaigns through CRM and marketing automation platforms
• Coordinate photography, videography, and basic video editing for marketing campaigns, events, and member communications
• Collaborate with branch staff and internal departments to support product launches, community events, promotions, and organizational initiatives
• Ensure all marketing materials comply with financial industry regulations and INOVA brand standards

What they're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Digital Marketing, or a related field
• Strong understanding of digital marketing principles
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Internship, freelance, volunteer, or professional marketing experience preferred
• Experience creating graphics using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software
• Experience managing social media accounts for a business, organization, internship, or college project
• Familiarity with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and website analytics
• Basic understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
• Experience with photography, videography, and basic video editing
• Familiarity with AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Canva AI, or Adobe Firefly
