Marketing Coordinator

SusieCakes Bakery is a bakery specializing in made-from-scratch desserts and community-centered celebrations. The Marketing Coordinator will support local and regional marketing across social, digital, PR, and community channels, coordinating content, partnerships, campaigns, website updates, and in-bakery marketing activities.

What you'll do:

• Own the social media content calendar and publish on Instagram and TikTok
• Write on-brand copy and brief creators, photographers, influencers, and interns
• Engage with our online community, including comments, DMs, tagged posts, and user-generated content
• Track social trends and recommend ways to improve performance
• Coordinate logistics for influencer partnerships, PR requests, donations, and events
• Write PR briefs for agency partners
• Build website product pages and coordinate in-bakery marketing updates
• Review SMS campaigns and write content for Pinterest and AI-driven search

What they're looking for:

• * 1–3 years of experience in marketing, social media, brand coordination, or a related field
• * Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
• * Strong project management and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, remote work environment
• * Proactive self-starter who takes ownership and approaches new challenges with initiative and resourcefulness
• * Excellent written communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging across channels and audiences
• * Experience managing Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms using current best practices
• * Comfortable interacting with customers across social media and online communities while maintaining a consistent brand voice
• * Bachelor's degree required
• * Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of a SusieCakes bakery location (approximately 30 miles) to support occasional on-site needs, quick-turn projects, and in-person marketing activations
• * Ability to travel to other SusieCakes bakeries for meetings, events, bakery openings, and marketing activations. Travel is approximately 20% of the role and may include overnight stays of 1–3 nights depending on business needs
• * Must have a reliable source of transportation to support required travel to bakeries, events, and marketing activations
• * Ability to sit or remain at a computer workstation for extended periods while performing administrative tasks
