About this role
Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits is a beverage distributor seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing initiatives. The role assists with campaigns, content development, digital marketing, communications, performance reporting, vendor coordination, and cross-departmental marketing projects.
What you'll do:
- Assist with the planning, execution, and coordination of marketing campaigns, projects, events, and promotional activities across digital, print, and promotional channels
- Create and maintain marketing materials and communications, including promotional content, newsletters, advertisements, event materials, and messaging for internal and external audiences
- Track, analyze, and report on marketing campaign performance, engagement metrics, and other marketing activities
- Assist with managing company social media accounts, digital marketing platforms, website content, and online marketing materials
- Help maintain consistent brand standards and messaging across marketing channels and communications
- Coordinate logistics, timelines, calendars, documentation, and other administrative activities related to marketing projects and campaigns
- Assist with vendor coordination and communication related to marketing services and initiatives
- Organize and maintain marketing assets, files, and campaign materials
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and other departments to support company initiatives and business objectives
- Conduct marketing research and data collection to support strategy development and decision-making
- Perform other job-related duties as needed
What they're looking for:
- • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field
- • Strong organizational and project coordination skills
- • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- • Basic knowledge of marketing principles and digital marketing tools
- • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic marketing software platforms
- • Physical demands for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (keyboard, mouse, and monitor)
- • Occasional to rare walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping, including periodic site/shop visits
- • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20 lbs
- • 1-3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or related roles preferred
- Internship or entry-level marketing experience may be considered
