Marketing Coordinator (Remote) US

Cengage is an education technology company focused on helping learners improve their lives through digital education products and services. The Marketing Coordinator will support marketing strategy execution, campaigns, project coordination, content development, marketing material distribution, analytics, research, and collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

What you'll do:

• Assist marketing leadership with strategy execution and campaign support
• Collaborate confidently and professionally with external partners
• Coordinate, track, and facilitate the completion of projects and initiatives
• Create and organize content calendars
• Optimize internal processes
• Assist with the creation and proofreading of marketing materials
• Coordinate the distribution of marketing materials both internally and externally
• Assist with basic analytics and reporting across multiple channels
• Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams to deliver results
• Assist with market research and identify emerging trends and opportunities

What they're looking for:

• Degree, certification, or minor in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
• Organized, accurate, and thorough
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks to deliver projects on schedule
• Knowledge of marketing terminology
• Ability to develop marketing content and collateral
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively within a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
• Passion for digital education and positive customer outcomes
• Familiarity with marketing strategies and delivery channels
• Understanding of both B2B and B2C marketing is a plus
