Marketing Intern

Coffman Engineers is a multi-discipline engineering firm seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Intern to join their Spokane office. The role involves gaining hands-on experience in professional services marketing, proposal development, content creation, and event coordination.

What you'll do:

• Assist in the updating and creation of proposals, resumes, etc
• Assist with maintaining marketing information in various software platforms
• Create content for Coffman’s social media channels
• Update and create new content
• Photography of projects and office events
• Assist in the planning and organizing of office and client events
• Assist in the research regarding industry trends and potential upcoming projects
• Assist with internal communications to staff
• Prepare and submit press releases to news agencies, assist in writing technical articles, assist with newsletters and e-blasts
• Assist in the development and brand quality of internal and external presentations

What they're looking for:

• Currently enrolled in a four-year degree program pursuing Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or similar
• Must be able to work a minimum of 10 hours per week during the school year (more hours available if it works with your schedule)
• Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Familiarity with Adobe CC (InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat) and MS Office 365 programs
• Familiarity with social media platforms
• Communicate effectively, provide a high level of attention to detail, and handle multiple deadlines simultaneously
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Highly organized; able to take direction and work independently
