About this role
Colonial Chemical is a manufacturer of specialty chemicals and surfactants, with an emphasis on environmentally friendly products. The Marketing Intern is responsible for the creation of marketing materials including graphics, maintaining company social media, trade show preparation, and maintaining database information.
What you'll do:
- Design Marketing graphics for:
- Artwork for trade show booth designs and other trade show artwork needs
- Email Marketing
- Website blogs, articles
- Social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, LinkTree), etc
- Sample kits and formulation labels
- Business cards and employee photos
- Internal marketing: webinars, TV's, publications, news, blogs, product launches with highlights and wins
- Brochures & literature
- Maintaining Colonial's mailing list for marketing campaigns
- Assist with Colonial's sample kit system: messaging, graphics, giveaways, packaging & shipping etc
- Work with Colonial Applications Lab to promote new products
What they're looking for:
- Junior or Senior level University student majoring in Marketing or related field
- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
- Junior level graphic design
- Proficiency in full Microsoft Office Suite, WordPress, as well as Adobe Creative Cloud, with a focus in Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
- Audio and video recording and editing experience
