About this role
I Hotel and Illinois Conference Center is a luxury hospitality and events destination seeking a Digital Marketing Intern. The intern will research markets, create digital and promotional content, manage social media, support marketing campaigns, collaborate with sales, and track campaign performance for hotel, conference, dining, wedding, and special-event offerings.
What you'll do:
- Research target markets, consumer behavior, industry trends, and competitor activity to identify marketing opportunities
- Present research findings, insights, and recommendations to the marketing and sales team
- Create engaging marketing content, including social media posts, email campaigns, digital advertisements, promotional materials, photography, and video
- Assist in managing social media platforms by scheduling content, monitoring engagement, analyzing performance metrics, and recommending improvements
- Support marketing campaigns that promote hotel stays, conferences, meetings, weddings, dining experiences, and special events
- Collaborate with the sales team to plan, execute, and evaluate marketing campaigns and outreach initiatives
- Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions, contributing creative ideas that strengthen brand awareness and audience engagement
- Support community outreach efforts and help represent the I Hotel and Illinois Conference Center at events when needed
- Track campaign results and identify opportunities to improve engagement, reach, and overall marketing effectiveness
