Marketing Intern

Independent Living Systems (ILS) is committed to promoting a higher quality of life and maximizing independence for vulnerable populations. The Marketing Intern will support marketing campaigns through content creation, social media management, market research, email marketing, and data analysis to enhance brand awareness and engagement.

What you'll do:

• Demonstrate commitment to Our Mission and models ILS Experience Standards of Excellence
• Assist in creating and scheduling engaging content for social media platforms to increase audience interaction and brand presence
• Support marketing initiatives in conducting market research and analyzing consumer data to identify trends and opportunities
• Help coordinate and execute email marketing campaigns, including drafting copy and monitoring performance metrics
• Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and develop creative marketing ideas and promotional materials
• Track and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives using analytics tools to inform future strategies
• Perform other duties as assigned

What they're looking for:

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Basic understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing concepts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or design sofrware
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva
• Familiarity with marketing analytics platforms like Google Analytics or social media insights
• Previous internship or work experience in a marketing or communications role
• Knowledge of SEO principles and content management systems
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
