Marketing Intern

Klein Tools designs and launches innovative products with a focus on quality, customer obsession, innovation, ownership, and teamwork. The Marketing Intern will assist with marketing campaigns, product launches, promotions, market research, content development, presentations, and collaboration with cross-functional partners.

What you'll do:

• Draft communication plans in support of Marketing Manager’s vision for new product launches and promotions
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative content and collateral
• Gather product samples and assist in conducting research to identify market trends to develop product shot lists
• Participate in product and application photoshoots to capture new product features
• Assist copywriters by entering product details into internal database for downstream partners
• Prepare marketing proposals and presentations based on company needs
• Perform other duties as required within the nature and level of work

What they're looking for:

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field is required
• Knowledge of marketing strategies, including continuing education of new marketing tactics and tools is required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to translate complex research into common language
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite ﴾Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint﴿
• Familiarity with consumer psychology and buying habits
• Ability to quickly learn and process information
• Must have time management, planning and organizational skills
• Strong analytical skill set with ability to find actionable, pragmatic solutions to complex problems
• Occasionally required to stand, walk or sit; use hands to grasp, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; use fingers to touch, pick or pinch objects; reach with hands and arms; push or pull; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; use foot or leg controls; talk or hear
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds
• For all jobs no one should lift over 50lbs on their own
