Marketing Intern

The US Oncology Network is a community-based oncology network dedicated to advancing cancer care in America. The Part-time Marketing Intern will support the Texas Oncology Corporate Marketing Team by creating marketing content, assisting with campaigns and promotional events, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to drive brand awareness, engagement, and patient referrals.

What you'll do:

• Content Creation: Support the creation of engaging and informative marketing materials, including digital content, brochures, presentations, and social media posts
• Campaign Support: Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns targeting regional and surgical audiences, including email marketing, events, and webinars
• Promotional Support: Aid in planning and execution of marketing and promotional practice events
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and clinical specialists, to ensure cohesive and impactful marketing initiatives
• Administrative Tasks: Provide administrative support to the marketing team, including scheduling meetings, organizing files, and maintaining project documentation

What they're looking for:

• This is a remote role, but the candidate must reside within the state of Texas
• Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Healthcare, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with digital marketing tools
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Interest in healthcare marketing and a passion for improving patient outcomes
• Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination
• Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time
• Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 40 lbs
• Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range
